01-08-2012: Gray Whale Numbers Increase, More Excellent Looks at Feeding Common Dolphins

Pretty much a carbon copy of yesterday’s trip. But the weather really calmed down nicely with warm conditions and flat, smooth water. The numbers of passing gray whales seem to be increasing. We could see many spouts all over the Pt. Pinos area.

Here’s some incredible video footage from a trip in November. It’s one of the best encounters we’ve had.
